This unique kitchen knife was crafted during a weekend workshop at an old traditional blacksmith's shop in Lüdersburg, Germany. I went there with a couple of friends, plenty of wine and bread. No introduction or guidance was provided, so we just started with the information we

looked up beforehand. It was very rewarding to find out how steel behaves and deforms when forged by hand. The handle is shaped out of oak which was smoked and waxed afterwards. It's held together by stainless steel rivets.
The cutting edge remains to be sharpened.
